Annotations
Pin your thoughts right on the page.
Annotations are Figma-style comments on a saved website's screenshot. Press C, click the spot you mean and write what you noticed. Your comments stay attached to that exact place, and they're searchable, so you can find a reference by what you thought about it.
How annotations work
Open a reference
The detail page shows the full snapshot, with zoom controls.
Press C and click
Place a comment on the exact element you mean. Cards appear when you hover over a marker.
Find it again
Comments are searched alongside everything else, and results tell you the match came from your comment.
Good to know
- Annotations are personal, since libraries belong to one account.
- Comments stay separate from a reference's note, and search keeps the two apart.
Who it's for
- Designers building a point of view on a pattern
- Anyone who saves things and forgets why
Questions
Can my AI tool read my comments?
Yes. Search results through MCP include your comments as a separate field, along with where each match came from.
What's the difference between a note and a comment?
A note describes the whole reference. A comment is pinned to one spot on its screenshot.
