Canvas
Think through your references on an open board.
Canvas is an infinite, FigJam-style board inside Nyabag. Drag in references you've saved, then add sticky notes, text, shapes, images and connectors, and group them into sections. It's where a pile of inspiration turns into a direction you can explain.
How Canvas works
Pull in your references
Open the bookmark panel, filter by library or search, then drag a card onto the board. You can also drop or paste images.
Add your thinking
Use sticky notes, text, shapes, sections and straight, elbow or curved connectors. Move things around with alignment guides and snapping.
Bring in your AI
Your AI tool can read a whole board through MCP: its notes, sections, references and flows.
What's on the board
Everything you need to turn references into a direction.
- Sticky notes in several colors, plain text and shapes
- Sections that group whatever is inside them
- Straight, elbow and curved connectors with labels
- Saved references, images you paste or drop, and emoji stamps
- Alignment guides, grid snapping and FigJam-style keyboard shortcuts
Good to know
- Canvas needs a desktop-sized screen. On phones you'll see a short note instead.
- Boards belong to one account, with no live collaboration.
- AI tools can read boards, but can't edit them.
Who it's for
- Designers comparing directions for a project
- Anyone building a moodboard from real sites
- Founders mapping out a landing page
Questions
Is this a replacement for FigJam?
No. FigJam is built for teams working together. Canvas is a personal board that knows your saved references, so they're one drag away.
Are my references live on the board?
Bookmarks on a board stay linked to your saved references, and you can open one from the board.
