Nyabag is an MCP server, which lets AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor work with your design library. Connect once, sign in with your Nyabag account, and ask for references, run Research, pull real design tokens or save pages. There are no API keys to manage.

  1. Open Plugins, select + and choose Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Nyabag, paste the server URL and choose OAuth.
  3. Connect and allow access.

How connecting works

  1. Add the server

    Paste the Nyabag server address into your AI tool, using the steps below.

  2. Sign in and allow access

    Your tool opens a Nyabag sign-in, where you approve it. It runs with your access, so it only ever sees your own library.

  3. Ask in plain words

    Your tool picks the right Nyabag tools by itself. You can see and disconnect approved tools on the Connect page in Nyabag.

What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI tools connect to outside apps and data. Nyabag's server gives your tool a set of actions it can take on your library.

Does it need an API key?

No. You sign in with your Nyabag account through OAuth and approve the tool.

Which AI tools work?

ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and any other client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth.

Can my AI change anything?

It can save pages, create libraries and move references. It can't delete anything through these tools, and canvas tools are read-only.
