Use case

Build a website moodboard from real sites.

A website moodboard works best when it's made of real pages, not just pretty images, because you can study how a layout actually holds together. In Nyabag, you collect sites into a library, widen the set with similar designs, then arrange them on a Canvas board.

Step by step

  1. Collect into one library

Create a library for the project. Save sites with the Chrome extension as you browse, or paste a list of links with bulk import.

  2. Widen the set

Open your favorite reference and check its Similar panel for sites that look alike. Add a Research run for a pattern you're missing, such as a pricing page.

  3. Find the common thread

Ask your AI tool for a design brief of the library. It sums up shared colors, fonts, section types and typical corner radius.

  4. Lay it out on Canvas

Drag references onto a board, group them into sections by direction, and add sticky notes saying what you'd keep from each.

Tips

  • Note what you like while it's fresh. Press C on a screenshot to pin a comment on the exact spot.
  • Aim for two or three clear directions, rather than one big pile.
  • Use references to understand choices, then make your own. Fonts and brand assets belong to their owners.

Good to know

  • Canvas needs a desktop-sized screen.
  • Boards are personal, so share a screenshot if you're presenting to others.
